The quilt is about 5' by 7' in size and was commissioned by the bride. It includes blocks signed by the wedding guests, transfers of the wedding and rehearsal, dinner invitations, and the best man's toast in addition to the photos. Pieced state blocks of Virginia and New Jersey include the bride and groom's names and birth dates. The photos include the couple's courtship, wedding and honeymoon. An applique block commemorates their honeymoon in Alaska. It is machine pieced and quilted.
