This 5 foot square quilt was made for my mother's 75th birthday. It includes family photos that show four generations of family members. The pieced blocks are significant because they relate to our Pennsylvania Dutch heritage (Shoo-Fly, Dutchman's Puzzle, Fox & Geese) and my mother's skills as an avid gardener (Tulips), seamstress and quilter (Spools). There are 76 photos in all. It is machine pieced and quilted. The crocheted butterfly on the lower right border is one my mother made as a teenager.
