Robyn's Birthday

"I really enjoyed working with your Photos-To-Fabric® transfer paper, and was pleased with the outcome on my first effort. There were a few photographs that we wished were larger, and my husband had a bright idea of enlarging them on the copy machine. It worked beautifully!

The quilt was made as a 50th birthday present for my sister-in-law, Robyn. I have been quilting for about a year and this is the first quilt I have made that is larger than a wall hanging. It measures 61 x 73 inches. There are 40 snowball photo blocks and 40 nine-patch blocks on the quilt representing every member of our family as well as pictures of Robyn from kindergarten to motherhood. The idea that I had in mind for this quilt was that she could "surround herself with family."
