Subject: re:request for 301 manual

Hi everyone,
I want to let you all know that I got my 301 manual from pike.family@cwix.com
today. She sent it to me on the "condition" I do something nice for someone.
That was easy to do. The local high school is having a yard sale to earn
money for the music department and so I gave to their cause, and also clothes
to the women's shelter. Doing a good turn sure makes you feel good. Thank
you Nancine for the nudge to do something good for someone. And thank you
for your generosity. Now I can sit with my "new" machine and tune it up
without guessing.

Thank you all who responded to my request for a manual and to all the
Feathers for their advice and stories.

Linda

Hello Diane I could not resist writing to you as you are English The
problem sounds like the Tension release plate (take it of ) This is the
little flat plate with a bar across the middle located in the middle
of your top tension after the ajusting spring . For the
record the 128 machine tension consists of 2 tension discs 1 release plate
1coil spring + 1adjusting nut Hope this helps Graham Cresswell in

Hi feathers, we are home at last. Our heads are still swimming from the
enormity of such an undertaking. Without the help of some of you wonderful
FWFanatics our workshops would have not been such a success. We want to take
this opportunity to thank Kathleen Davis, Diane Towers, Terry Sampson for
wonderful meals, great beds and lively conversation and to each of the more
than 100 workshop participants that we were able to meet and share a common
bond of Featherweight Care
We found that we are not as young as we used to be since when was Seattle a
3 day trip like we did it when we were in our 20s?
We still have lots to work on scheduling is one of the biggies I think that
map that I kept looking at just kept growing in the van cause it took us a
whole lot longer to get to some places and shorter time to get to others.
We are now looking forward to our trip to Houston and hope that the map
stays small this time.
Thanks again to all that participated and hope to see you all again soon.
