Welcome...

to the mini-exhibit of quilts from the book, "Watercolor Quilts." These quilts show how the 2-inch squares have been used to create a masterpiece!
This quilt combines pieced background with appliquè tulips. It was made to honor Patricia's parents, Frank and Betty Maixner, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hold Your Heads Up High by Patricia Maixner Magaret, 1993, Pullman, Washington, 35" x 36".

A romantic floral bouquet reminds us of flowers just brought in from the garden. Jeanie used fabrics with unusual motifs, such as soda cans and people's faces, to create the intense colors found in the individual blossoms.
Say It with Flowers by Jeanie Renfro, 1993, Pullman, Washington, 34" x 38".

A romantic, Victoriab heart comes to life against a watercolor wash backround. Made for Donna's son and his family so they can take Mother's love with them wherever they go.
Heart's Delight by Donna Ingram Slusser, 1993, Pullman, Washington, 64" x 64".
