3 3/4 yds. Carol-C6080 peri for backing

Border and Binding: (Cut down the length of the fabric.)

Carol-C6078 peri fabric:

2 strips, each 6 1/2" x 48 1/2" Side Borders
2 strips, each 6 1/2" x 60 1/2" Top and bottom borders
4 strips, each 2" x 63" for Binding

Setting Pieces:

Carol-C6074 blue:

4 squares, 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"
3 squares, 13 1/4" x 13 1/4", cut twice diagonally to make 12 quarter-square triangles

Carol-C6073 vanilla:

12 squares, 6 7/8" x 6 7/8", cut once diagonally to make 24 half-square triangles

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Cut all the fabric pieces for the paper-pieced blocks. Label each group with indicating the number and block location.
Make one paper foundation for each of the 36 blocks.
Assembly-line sew the paper-pieced blocks.
Join the above blocks as follows:
Make the following traditionally pieced setting pieces:
Join the blocks and setting pieces as shown.
Join the side borders. Join the top and bottom borders.
Remove the paper
Sandwich and quilt.
Bind quilt.
