The rotary cut, machine pieced quilt features the letters of the alphabet and numbers like the needlework samplers did that were used as teaching tools. Yes, I do know the 6 is backwards. It just goes to show that not everyone learns. The hearts are pieced and then appliqued. This quilt offers lots of opportunity to use scraps.
